Sarah Decker, a Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri author and self-publisher of 'the Simplicity of Iris Folding', is now offering workshops on the basics of Iris Folding. Learn how to make handcrafted greeting cards and frame-able art using the Iris Folding technique. Iris Folding is a technique in which folded strips of colored paper are layered in a spiral pattern behind an aperture opening of a piece of cardstock. The center of the design resembles the iris of an eye or camera.
All materials, including a variety of decorative corner and border punches, cardstock, colored paper, adhesive tape, scissors, etc., will be furnished. Students only need to bring themselves and be prepared to enjoy a fun and exciting 2 to 2 ½ hours of making greeting cards and frame-able art.
The cost of the workshop is $12.00 per person.
If you already own the book, and wish to bring your own supplies (paper, cardstock, tape, punches, scissors, etc.), the workshop fee will be waived.
Book your workshop today. I will travel within 15 miles of Lake of the Ozarks for the above fee. Anything beyond 15 miles will require an additional fee of .42 cents per mile. Each workshop must be limited to no more than 12 persons and there must be a guaranteed minimum of 6. Payment must be submitted and received no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled workshop.
